The world famous Abu Dhabi Golf Club has launched night golf enabling visitors to play under the stars.

The home of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the 27-hole venue has installed a state-of-the-art lighting facility to enable golfers to play once the sun has gone down.
Ken Kosak, general manager at the Abu Dhabi golf club, said: “Whether you are after a social nine holes after work or are a serious amateur wanting to play a full round on a championship course, you now have the opportunity to play golf seven nights a week here in the United Arab Emirates.”
The night golf experience will go hand in hand with a series of leisure developments including restaurants and clothing outlets available at the club.
The last tee-time for 9-holes is 9pm with times for a full round depending on the sunset.
Night golf is not a new concept but there are few places where you can enjoy a high quality and fully floodlit championship golf course. It certainly beats illuminous fairway markers and glow in the dark balls.
