Set in the South East of Spain and sandwiched between Murcia to the West and Valencia to the North, Alicante Province is easily accessible by air.
Alicante Airport, also known as Alicante-Elche Airport, is the fifth largest airport in Spain and located only nine kilometres South West of the port city of Alicante.

Las Colinas Golf & Country Club
Las Colinas Golf & Country Club is located South of Alicante in a 330-hectare valley between hills and close to the sea.
It is home to a championship golf course which is currently used as a qualifying stage venue for The European Tour Q-School and is a three times winner of ‘Best Golf Course in Spain’ (World Travel Awards).
The golf club shares space is part of an eco-friendly low density housing development in 200,000 sq metres of beautiful countryside, with scenic trails, lemon and orange groves.
North American landscape architect, Cabell B. Robinson, designed the par-71, 6973 yard 18-hole championship course to offer visitors of all abilities an exciting and premium golf course within a unique setting.
The resort has two restaurants, UNiK CAFÉ and enso sushibar as well as an exclusive beach club and leisure facilities including a gym and tennis and multisports courts.
Alicante Golf Club
A Par 72, 18 hole layout, Alicante Golf Club was designed by five-time Major Champion and European Ryder Cup legend Seve Ballesteros.
The course is relatively flat and is unusual in being perfectly balanced with six par 3’s, six par 4’s and six par 5’s.
The main hazards are the five large lakes which are in play on 12 of 18 holes. The club is only five minutes from the centre of Alicante which makes it hard to beat for accessibility.
The ruins of a Roman villa can be found on the 14th hole.

Alenda Golf Club
Situated close to the Sierra de las Aguilas mountains, the scenery at this resort is spectacular. Alenda is ideal for golfers of any ability and is regarded as being one of the easier and quicker courses to play in Alicante.
Designer Roland Favrat wanted to respect the geography of the estate as much as possible and make the most of the beautiful natural landscape. The course was chosen as a stage venue for European Tour qualifying school in 2018.
The club has its own Golf School and driving range which makes it an excellent choice for beginners and those aiming to learn and improve their golf.
The exclusive Levante Course at the Melia VIllaitana Resort was created by Jack Nicklaus Design. The Levante is an American style resort layout with wide fairways and interestingly shaped greens.
It plays over 6576 meters long and has stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Finestrat mountains.
Nicklaus has peppered the course with 106 bunkers and three intimidating lakes. The resort is also home to the Poniente Course as well as a large driving range, practice area and a putting green.
The course is just 40-minutes away from the airport and is easily reached via Alicante airport transfers.
Font del Llop Golf Resort
Voted in the top 100 golf courses in Spain, this course has an excellent reputation for such a new golf venue.
Opened in 2010, Font de Llop combines features of American style design with inspiration from classic Scottish links courses.
The resort is nestled in a steep-sided valley surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, with a natural small river connecting ponds on the course, so the views and peaceful atmosphere are a major selling point.
Club De Golf Bonalba
Located 16 km north of central Alicante and close to the Playa de San Juan, the views across the beach and Mediterranean Sea are an attractive feature for this resort. The 18-hole, par 72 course has vegetation typical of the Med, with palm and pine trees dotted around the course.
The resort offers more than just golf in the way of activities with restaurants, pools and slides all in the vicinity and the Hotel Bonalba is highly rated within the local area.
